About the Lions

The Lions Sports Academy and Football Club  (LSAFC) is a nonprofit founded in 2017, focusing on promoting sports in rural Nyanza, Kenya. We prioritize supporting orphans, rural children, and disadvantaged youth, offering them hope and opportunities through sports. Operating in Karachuonyo, a district where many lack basic needs due to diseases like HIV/AIDS and malaria, we employ football and education to empower these children, breaking the cycle of dependency and advocating for their rights. Beyond sports, we nurture Christian values and patriotism, mentoring and nurturing youth for positive societal development. Football is a global unifying force that fosters skill development and unity. Many Kenyan youth face challenges like unemployment, driving them towards despair and destructive activities. Rural areas, especially, lack opportunities for talent development. We seek funding and sponsorship to address these issues and transform promising Kenyan talents' lives.
